Aphasia- difficulty understanding others or expressing oneself

Apraxia of speech is when the muscles and structures of the mouth have a hard time sequencing the correct movements to produce speech.

Dysarthria is when muscles of the mouth may be too weak, tight, or uncoordinated to produce clear speech.

Alexia refers to an acquired difficulty with reading.
