    • This service is for a care partner to receive training in direct strategies for communication, swallowing or cognition of the patient at home

    This service is for professionals requesting a speaking engagement from the speech pathologist (SLP).

    The SLP can provide a customized workshop or in-service on the topics of communication, cognitive or swallowing skills.

    Sample topics:

    • Voice care for teachers

    • Memory aid use for adults with mild cognitive impairment

    • Expected changes in the aging voice or swallow

    • Communicating with someone who has a communication disorder
